All Glories To Srila Prabhupada đ
Ch 7
The essence of these verses is that the complete understanding of the Absolute begins when the mind becomes attached to Krishna through devotion. KášášŁáša says that He can be known fully only by yoga practiced in full consciousness of Him, because He is not just an impersonal light or localized Supersoul, but the complete Absolute Truth. To know Him is to know everything essential, because He is the source of both the material world and the spiritual reality.
He explains that material nature is His lower energy, made of eight elements like earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego. But beyond this is His higher energy—the living beings—who animate and use matter. So the soul is superior to matter, yet still dependent on the Lord, because KášášŁáša is the source and controller of both. This means we are spiritual by nature, but we become entangled when we identify with the lower energy.
A very deep lesson here is that many may seek perfection, but very few truly know KášášŁáša as He is. Speculation, philosophy and partial realization can take one only so far; full knowledge comes by hearing from KášášŁáša or His pure devotee and by practicing real devotion. When one hears about Him sincerely, the heart becomes purified, doubts are removed, and true knowledge awakens naturally.
So the essence is that KášášŁáša is the complete Absolute Truth, the source of both matter and spirit, and the living being finds real understanding and liberation only by turning from material identification to loving devotion and hearing about Him in the proper way.The essence of these verses is that everything—both material and spiritual—comes from Krishna and ultimately rests in Him. He is not just a distant creator, but the origin, support, and end of all existence, like a thread holding together pearls.
He explains that all creation is a combination of matter and spirit, but both energies come from Him. The living beings are spiritual, yet dependent, and the entire universe functions because of His presence as the Supreme Soul. So whether something is big like the universe or small like an individual life, the real cause behind it is KášášŁáša alone.
Then He makes it very practical—He is not only the cause of everything, but also present everywhere in simple experiences. The taste of water, the light of the sun and moon, the sound of “oáš,” the fragrance of earth, the heat in fire, the life within all beings, and even intelligence and strength—all these are His manifestations.
So the deeper realization is this: God is not far away. Every moment, through nature and our own abilities, we are constantly experiencing Him. When a person begins to see everything as connected to KášášŁáša, then life becomes spiritualized, and one naturally moves toward true knowledge and devotion. The heart of these verses is that Krishna is the pure source behind everything—but He remains completely untouched by material influence.
He says real strength is not selfish or aggressive; it is pure, controlled, and used for protection. Even desires like sex are divine when they follow dharma, showing that spirituality is not about rejecting life but purifying it.
All the different conditions of life—goodness, passion, and ignorance—come from Him, yet He is beyond them. Just like a king creates laws but is not bound by them, KášášŁáša creates nature but is never controlled by it. However, living beings become trapped in these modes and forget Him, thinking only in terms of body, identity, and temporary roles.
Because of this illusion, the whole world remains confused and cannot recognize the Supreme Person behind everything. This illusion is very powerful—like strong ropes binding the soul—and no one can escape it by their own effort. Only when a person sincerely surrenders to KášášŁáša does that illusion release its grip.
Still, many people do not surrender—not because the path is difficult, but because their intelligence is misdirected. Some are too absorbed in material work, some ignore spiritual life, some are proud of their knowledge, and some are openly against God. In all these cases, the root problem is the same: forgetting the true relationship with KášášŁáša.
So the essence is this—KášášŁáša is everywhere, beyond everything, and the only way to become free from illusion is to reconnect with Him through surrender and devotion. The essence here is very beautiful and hopeful đ
People come to Krishna for different reasons—not always pure, but still valuable. Some come in pain, some want wealth, some are curious, and some genuinely want to understand truth. Even though their motives may be mixed, KášášŁáša accepts all of them, because at least they have turned toward Him.
As they continue in devotion, their hearts gradually become purified. What begins as need or curiosity slowly transforms into pure love. Among all of them, the one who truly understands KášášŁáša and serves Him without any selfish desire becomes very dear to Him. That relationship becomes so deep that it is like a loving bond—KášášŁáša cannot forget such a devotee, and the devotee cannot live without Him.
This level of realization does not come quickly. After many births of searching, struggling, and learning, a soul finally understands that KášášŁáša is the cause of everything. At that moment, surrender happens naturally—not out of fear or need, but out of deep realization and love. Such a soul is very rare.
On the other hand, when desires still dominate the heart, people turn toward smaller goals, like worshiping different demigods for quick results. This is not wrong, but it is limited. It shows that the person has not yet understood the highest truth—that everything ultimately comes from KášášŁáša alone.
So the essence is this: no matter why someone comes to God, it is a good beginning. But the journey is meant to go deeper—from desire to devotion, from need to love, and finally to full surrender, where one realizes that KášášŁáša is everything. đ¸The essence here is very deep and practical đ¸
Krishna is sitting in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul, quietly guiding every desire. If someone wants material enjoyment or chooses to worship different demigods, KášášŁáša does not stop them—He actually strengthens their faith and allows them to proceed. This shows His love and respect for our free will. But still, whatever result anyone gets, it ultimately comes from Him alone.
At the same time, this also reveals a limitation—when desires are material, the results are temporary. People may reach higher planets or gain benefits, but everything remains within the material world and eventually ends. Only those who turn directly to KášášŁáša go beyond this temporary cycle and reach the eternal destination.
Another important truth is that many people misunderstand KášášŁáša. Some think He is just an ordinary person or that originally God has no form. But this happens because their knowledge is incomplete. KášášŁáša’s real nature—eternal, full of knowledge and bliss—is hidden by His own divine energy. Only those who approach Him with devotion can actually understand who He is.
So the whole message is this—KášášŁáša is the hidden source behind all faith, all results, and all paths. He gives freedom, fulfills desires, and guides everyone. But unless a person moves beyond temporary desires and develops devotion, they cannot see Him as He truly is. When devotion awakens, the curtain lifts, and one realizes that KášášŁáša was always present—within the heart and behind everything. ✨The essence of these verses is very deep and eye-opening đż
Krishna is completely all-knowing—He knows every living being, every moment of past, present, and future. But the surprising truth is that although He knows everyone, people do not know Him. Why? Because their vision is covered by illusion.
That illusion comes from desire and hatred. As soon as the soul develops “I like this” and “I don’t like this,” it becomes trapped in duality—happiness and distress, honor and dishonor, mine and yours. In that confused state, a person forgets their real identity and cannot recognize KášášŁáša, even though He is present in the heart.
But when a person lives a more pure life—doing good actions, reducing sins, and especially associating with devotees—the heart becomes clean. Then confusion goes away, and devotion becomes steady and determined. At that stage, the person is no longer disturbed by dualities and can truly understand KášášŁáša.
As this realization deepens, one understands a powerful truth: “I am not this body, I am spirit, and my real relationship is with KášášŁáša.” Such a person naturally takes shelter of Him to overcome birth, death, old age, and suffering. This is real liberation—not just knowledge, but living in connection with KášášŁáša.
Finally, when someone becomes fully absorbed in KášášŁáša consciousness, something amazing happens—even at the time of death, they remember Him. And that remembrance takes them to Him. No confusion, no fear—just a direct return to the Supreme.
So the essence is this:
We don’t know KášášŁáša because our heart is covered by illusion. But by purity, good association, and devotion, that covering is removed—and then everything becomes clear. KášášŁáša was always there… we just begin to see Him. ✨
